We can't honestly see what would warrant it.Īn interesting wrinkle from the new trailer released on May 6 though is that this Mysterio isn't from this world, but a different Earth, introducing the multiverse into the MCU. Otherwise, turning Mysterio into a hero would be one of the most dramatic changes that Marvel has ever made to comics canon. Could Mysterio be creating the 'elemental monsters' and then showing up to 'defeat' them, thus establishing himself as a superhero as cover for his criminal activities?
